For this project I wanted to try and find something that would be very interesting and beautiful when photographed in black and white. In Photo I class, I had taken a still life including some colored bottles and I really liked how they photographed. I wanted to take that idea and try it in a different way. I was really trying to make an image that was both simplistic and beautiful. During this process I also learned a lot about having to constantly remember to have a critical eye on your work all the time. You need to make sure that you don't just fall in love with your own work the first time and forget to look at your work objectively. I also learned a lot about using the gradient tool in Lightroom while working on this project.
