My idea for interacting with the print surface was to draw tattoos on someones picture. I then remembered a movie a watched that had Polynesians in it with sweet tattoos on their faces. So I looked them up and found some examples of Maori Polynesians. I drew similar tattoos on a picture of myself. I really like it. I definitely looks cooler after I scanned it because you can't tell that I drew on it. It looks like I went crazy with a sharpie on my face in real life. But I didn't.
